Continuing the Connection

The Academy provides ongoing opportunities for Alumni to stay engaged with the Academy, the community and one another. These continued connections help to strengthen Memphis’ leadership chain, connecting Academy Masters with Fellows to help pave the way as they venture into community action.

Throughout the year, we offer a number of programs to link Academy Alumni, including:

  • Continued leadership development through workshops and Celebrate What's Right luncheons.
  • Alumni mix and mingle and social events such as the annual holiday party, welcome and commencement receptions, class-specific parties, and more.
  • The Academy links Alumni with others meeting community needs through non-profit board placements and mentoring opportunities.
  • Masters and Fellows Alumni are encouraged to engage with new classes of Fellows as hosts, panelists, consultants and experts through structured parts of the Fellows curriculum or as an informal mentor/advisor.
