Leaderhip Academy Brings Fellows Together For Education

At the request of Kenya Bradshaw with Stand for Children, The Leadership Academy gathered 30 Fellows for an Education Meet Up on December 3rd at St. George’s Kimball Campus. Ms. Bradshaw’s presentation included
· Facts on student achievement in our community and our country
· Overview of state and federal proficiency standards in public education
· Local Reform Initiatives for MCS and SCS
· Examples of success in community engagement/investment in public education and an emphasis on how increased involvement translates to progress for public schools
