The Leadership Academy, formerly known as Goals for Memphis, is building on a 25+ year track record of positive community change. We believe that the most significant catalyst for our city’s transformation is more and better leaders.

That’s why we reach across the city, including individuals from all sectors and identity groups, in our mission to develop more and better leaders. The more diverse the points of view, the broader the vision. No one has a monopoly on good ideas; they can come from anyone, anywhere.

The Academy Alumni are nearly 1,000 strong — an ever-growing stable of empowered leaders bringing their diverse experiences and viewpoints together with the knowledge that knowing we are individually different helps us to be collectively great. The Academy is creating a community where inclusion, pride, respect and acceptance are the standard.
