At The Leadership Academy, we support and develop culturally responsive leaders who are capable of enacting systemic levels of change to improve outcomes for all students. 

With the help of so many, we’ve made incredible impact since our start in 2003:

• Nationwide, we have become a premier partner to education systems, supporting more than 15,000 leaders in transforming student learning in more than 430 school systems across 41 states and the District of Columbia.  
• Across New York City alone, where our roots began, we’ve graduated nearly 600 school and school system leaders. 66% of those leaders are women and 65% are educators of color.
• As a result of our work, 11.5 million students in the United States are learning in school systems with stronger leaders.

The visionary leaders we’ve supported over the years are working hard to create student-centered educational spaces that foster innovation and global citizenship. They continue to seek and deserve ongoing learning, collaboration, and idea exchange as they lead the difficult work of creating transformational education.
