At The Leadership Academy, we support and develop transformative leaders who are capable of driving systemic change to improve outcomes for all students.

With the help of so many, we’ve made an incredible impact since our founding in 2003:

• Nationwide, we have become a premier partner to education systems, supporting more than 15,000 leaders in transforming student learning across more than 430 school systems in 41 states and the District of Columbia.
• Across New York City alone, where our roots began, we’ve graduated nearly 600 school and system leaders—66% of whom are women and 65% educators of color.
• As a result of our work, 11.5 million students in the United States are learning in school systems with stronger leaders.

The visionary leaders we’ve supported over the years are creating student-centered learning environments that foster innovation and global citizenship. They continue to seek—and deserve—ongoing opportunities for learning, collaboration, and idea exchange as they lead the challenging work of reshaping education.
